The SCOPE art show debuted it's 2010 season at Lincoln Center yesterday March 3rd. SCOPE, building on the magnitude of success from it's Miami edition is hosting galleries from over 20 countries. The show is now open to the public and running thru to March 7th. General admission is from 12n to 8pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday and from 12n to 7pm on Sunday. Thursday(today) features Martha Colburn,"Political Revolution in my Basement". Friday the 5th will feature a selection of films from "A Shaded View" curated by Diane Pernet. Saturday delves into the Sci-Fi realm with an installation from Zach Layton and Sunday closes out with Divya Mehra and Rammy Lee Park and a hyperreal installation entitled "The Interruption" and a selection of films from the MFA Program at Columbia University. Admission is $20 and $10 for students, and after walking thur the exhibit yesterday, I have to say, it is more than worth it.
