Ladies and Gentlemen of New York, I do find a great honor in announcing to you the arrival of The Style Shark. I actually met Shark about 2 months before I moved to this wonderful city. We were both living in San Diego at the time, his photos were introduced to me one night at a now defunct supper club. Myself and a few of the bartenders were setting up the bar for the ensuing evening, getting high in the back while the boss was gone, doing shots of  Fernet Branca(my fav'!) and talking about parties that had gone on the previous week. Our buddy Roy showed us some party photos online that had been taken by The Style Shark himself. We then went to his website, aptly, www.thestyleshark.com

This guy is not only a glorious photographer, he has a taste for the woman body, in particular her feet and legs, that rivals that of a young Hugh Hefner or even Larry Flynt. After indulging in an hour or so of clicking thru his photo albums, I sent him an email and asked him to come photograph our bar. The owner was struggling to re-model the place and give it a new vibe and wanted some racy photos, Shark was a perfect fit.
He came out to the supper club one night, I was bartending, I actually was expecting a 40 yr old pervy guy to show up, but in walked fresh young 22 yr old  'Shark. It was after  6pm so I had a beer and a shot ready for myself and offered him a drink. Turns out he doesn't drink, he drinks ginger ale! No worries, we took a jaunt around the joint and showed him all the dirty wine cellars, meat lockers and bathrooms he could take pictures in. We were hiring a few models to come get their photos taken by Shark.
The photo shoot came and went. The photos are posted on his site. Only one girl showed up the night to take photos, but she had some rad bondage gear on and got pretty funky when the camera was snapping away at her. Shark and I kept in contact. I have wanted to show his work in quite a few functions since then, but things have just not come together. Lucky for New York, Shark is an entrepreneur of his own and has come to this city to take on a new backdrop and get a new skyline of girls under his photographic belt. Say hi if you see him about. Hopefully he will be in the pages of upcoming 'Grapevine issues. See ya round Shark!
