Looking for some entertaining reading for that lunch break. Mad at your little nephew and want to horrify him and his parents. Well "Grimmer Tales" by Erik Bergstrom is right up your alley. Hailing from Minnesota, graduating from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Bergstrom has bestowed his sick and twisted brain upon New York, and I have to say , it seems a good fit for this hedonistic city. Erik, a struggling comedian,  can often be found in Union Square(New York) now hustling his recently published book, "Grimmer Tales". The book is a compilation of fairy tales, re-hashed thru the 'Grimmer' view of Bergstrom. An example would be the piece posted below...

And let me tell you, this is one of the least horrifying of the bunch, still, I have been chuckling my ass off all day. You can find more about Erik at his website erikbergstrom.com . His book was release earlier this year on Plume Original, which is under the parent company Penguin Group. His comedy and his book writing are to die for, and quite often the characters in this book actually do die. Such is life. You can pick up a copy for your self at www.penguingroup.com.
