There once was a little boy with a hole in his soul is the story of a little boy who searches the world for someone or something to fill it.
At first glance, "There once was a little boy with a hole in his soul" seems like something you would never want your kids to read, but that's because it's more of a children's story for adults who've lost their way in life and children who are a little bit smarter than average.
Originally written in 1995 by Lawrence Thorne, the story takes us on a journey of iambic pentameter through the mountains, the plains and eventually the sea. Along the way, our hero (the little boy) meets 3 flowers on his quest for happiness and someone or something to rid him of that persistent, empty feeling we've all felt at one time or another in life.
The prose is rhythmic and enlightening.
The story touches the heart and hopefully, your soul as well.
