Have you seen Morgan O'Kane yet? I was able to meet him last summer and have been a huge fan ever since. HIs "New-Grass" styling, as he dubs it, is some of the cleanest, fastest banjo picking I have ever seen. He has fans all over the world and will entrance you with the soul of a wise old man, and a voice that sounds like whiskey and broken hearts. He can often be found at The Bedford/Driggs L stop, wailing along with the trains, playing percussion on an old suit case while stomping a tambourine. Here are a few of his videos just in case you can't wait to run into him, but I hope you do!
