I've run across Giuseppe a few times in my almost 3 years here in NYC. Honestly, the majority of our association has been the grandiosity that is FaceBook. Giuseppe is infamous for making posts into to pages. I'm ready to rifle thru his FB page and collect all posts and then publish them as words of wisdom book, I bet the kids that blow though Urban Outfitters would love a coffee table book with this mans wisdom and sarcastic wit all bound together.

I'm not here to tell you something I dont know about this cat. I do know he loves putting blue food coloring in his top shelf gins and turning them into worldly acclaimed cocktails. He really loves Charles Bukowski, a favorite of mine as well, which may be why I was so Bro-mantically attracted to his interweb humor and prose. I know that he will not stand for someone telling him what he can or can not do with his own creation. I know that when someone with a few dollars and pit bull lawyers try to put a cap on his candle light, the rest of the bartender world, knowing him or not, will jump to his side and band together a unifying front that is unmovable.

What I do know about GG is, hes proud of his Puerto Rican roots, he is filled with passion for cocktails and literature, proud to be a Ny'er, even when the Giants are having a shitty start to their season. I know that he really loves music, and so this is the epiphany for me taking a few moments to post these words and basically, give the guy some tribute and lay down some new gangsta tracks for the internet FaceBook sensation that is Giuseppe Gonzales. My hats off to you sir, one of these days maybe we can actually organize a drunk poetry reading and hip hop listening party, because prose and rap definitely go together! Golf clap to you sir, I look forward to your new ventures, and I hope you enjoy the songs I'm posting solely for you here today!
