Have you ever met that person? You know, the one that just never leaves your brain. The one that has a highway in your heart. Constantly speeding thru your veins. That one that you ran away from because you know, that right now, is just not the time. Maybe it's because you are scared of settling at this moment, maybe. Possibly, you feel life had more lessons to teach you before you could offer them what they truly deserved. Or maybe because, if you didn't have this person to long for, you would never have any artistic passion. The colors and words would fade away as you became inundated with falling forever in love. Maybe that's what was going thru Lissies' head as she put this new little riff together. Very reminiscent of some old Fleetwood Mac, sort of an exuberant Stevie Nicks. Hailing from Rock Island Illinois, this girl is pounding her songs into the pavement, and we are all a bit happier for it.This girl is crying without tears, and still you can hear every heavy salty drop of love crash from her eyes on the floor as this song is blaring thru your speakers, and it's ok to listen to it ten times in a row..I know I did. P.S, to the one out there, you know who you are, patience is something I just still haven't learned, but I promise someday we will rest together.
