My most favorite band of all time is playing Governors Island tomorrow night, August 14th 2011. My amazement for this band started almost 15 years ago. Band member Kyle Stoopid use to work at The Sea Trader deli a block from my house in Ocean Beach, California. Kyle told me about a show his band was playing, and after my first time watching the crew perform I was hooked. 6 Full length albums and tons of touring later, I have stayed in touch with the management and family of Stoopids crew, even booking them at a venue I use to run in Florida. Now , to my exuberated enjoyment, they will be playing tomorrow on Governors Island here in New York.
