Get your British-On!
Can’t afford a vacation this holiday season; get over to Meyers of Keswick’s for your favorite British Treats!
If you haven’t been living under a rock recently you’ve probably been inundated with news of the NEW Royal Wedding to be. While the 24 hour surveillance of this couple may be overwhelming, it reminded me of one of my favorite stores in NYC (don’t worry non-New Yorkers, you can order online) Meyers of Keswick.
They may be older and wiser as they celebrate their 25th anniversary this year, but they have not lost their enthusiasm for bringing the Best of Britain to the U.S.
Stop by for daily fresh baked Sheppard’s, meat or mushroom pie, as well, all of the best sundries from London, Scotland and Wales.
For the holidays place your order for their famous minced meat pies or Christmas puddings with brandy pudding sauce. They are also one of the only stores to carry original Christmas Crackers in the tri-state area.
You can also stop by and say to their resident fury friend Molly the Cat, a neighborhood legend, who famously keeps watch over the store and all its patrons.
