I took a few minutes out of my day to eat, for once, and upon my wondering around, I found a quaint little spot, one of those places I had always wanted to try and yet, never walked into. Well today, when passing the menu board, I noticed staring at me, words blessed by God, "Pork Fat Edamame!" Nuff said, I only need to ever hear pork fat anything, and boom!, I'm there. So I walked into to 'Spitzer's' on the corner of Ludlow and Rivington. An amazing bevy of bar snacks and upscale bar food are all over the menu. Two of the favorites were of course the aforementioned Pork Fat Edamame, pictured in the slideshow below, as well as a Bacon Wrapped Cornish Game Hen, also pictured below, these flavors and creations have been put together by chef Sung Park and are sent out with speed and accuracy, managed well by GM David Moon. The place has a ton of windows which allow all kinds of beautiful daytime light in. I was able to sit at the bar and catch a few rays of sun while sipping my beer. The servers were more than friendly, very helpful and well put together. All in all, I would have to say this will be a new regular haunt of mine, and I hope you find some time to enjoy it as well.
