Without giving away too much, Mike Flaherty (Paul Giamatti) is a lawyer trying to hold his law firm together while his kind and loving wife Jackie (Amy Ryan) holds down the fort at home. Mike is also the high school wrestling coach of one of the most losing teams in the state.

Mike's buddy, Terry Delfino (Bobby Cannavale) is a jilted husband obsessed with his ex-wife "having sex with the carpenter she left him for - in the house he paid for". Bobby Cannavale is hilarious in his role as Terry Delfino and along with the rest of the cast; bring perfect timing to keep the levity from becoming too heavy and sappy.

Jeffrey Tambor is great as Mike's partner and asst coach Stephen Vigman. The boiler scene alone is worth the price of admission.

Facing financial ruin (and possibly an exploding boiler at the office), Mike stumbles across Leo Poplar (Burt Young), a wealthy retiree in the early stages of dimentia who is assigned to Mike by the public defender's office. Leo's daughter has been unresponsive to legal notices, leaving Leo in danger of being removed from his home by the state.

Seeing a quick (and unethical) way to make a steady buck and help keep his family and business from financial ruin, Mike decides to become legal guardian to Leo to take advantage of his condition.

I highly recommend seeing Win Win as soon as possible. (trailer below)
