I often forget about the beautiful attractions NY does have to offer. I feel as though, so often we get jaded by tourists running the gambit of all the sightseeing locales that we forget,  they are actually quite amazing and beautiful, some places very intriguing, and now it is time for us as NY'ers to take those places back for our entertainment as well.

Recently I had the pleasure of heading up to the "Top of The Rock" observatory. It was a fairly warm day for what we have been experiencing lately, I think it was 40 degrees out! Anyhow, the staff was more than pleasant, always there to kindly direct you up to the top of this beautiful and historically rich building.

Inside is a many visual tour about the Rockefellers' themselves, their struggle to reach and achieve success in NY, and the legacy left behind. The elevator lift up to the top is somewhat of an attraction itself, emblazed with visuals as you rocket to the top of the building. And then, when finally atop this steel fortress, you are surrounded by a beautiful, pristine, and tranquil view of NYC.

Here are a few photos and a video of the 360 view from the top. As the weather warms up I suggest you take a day to re-visit this gem of NYC!
