Sitting at my desk on FaceBook today, again I am intrigued to see the people that Zuckerberg and his team have suggested for me to "Friend Request". I limit the search to just people who currently reside in New York, even though TNYGV is read all over the world, but since new York is in the title, I figured I would start there. So I start clicking away and "Requesting" all of these people that have been "Suggested" to me. And, all was going swimmingly until a pop-up occurred and interrupted my search for friends of TheNewYorkGrapevine.com. The Pop-Up informed me that I was requesting too many people( I think I had clicked about 25 people) and therefor my friend requesting abilities were revoked for the next 30 days! This really baffled me, seriously, why should my non-spamming effort to network with New Yorkers get me blocked from FaceBook. I can understand if even one person had ever reported me spam, but this has never happened. not one complaint has ever been made about my friend requesting manner, or the way I attempt to get TNYGV in the hands of new readers. Of course I wrote faceBook a little note, "I don't understand why you make friend suggestions if i am not allowed to send a request to them. If you want to limit the number of people I friend request, then limit the number of suggestions you send me.", and I am now awaiting their reply. I kinda doubt I will get it, but maybe if I put this article out they will see I'm not a computer spamming program. I'm a real person, in a real town, trying to reach out to people whom your "Networking Company" referred me to, and then blocked me for reaching out to. Idiots, don't sell grapes if you don't want me to eat them!
